E3 2017: Assassin's Creed Origins Confirmed, Release Date Announced

Assassin's Creed Origins has officially been unveiled at E3. Microsoft's press conference is underway, and Ubisoft has announced the latest instalment in the series will take players to Egypt, confirming all the prior rumors.

Assassin's Creed Origins will launch on October 27, 2017. Ubisoft is giving us our first looks now, including 4K gameplay on the newly detailed Xbox One X.

Origins introduces deep RPG elements to the series. You can also control a bird of prey that can identify areas of interest.

Previous rumors said Assassin's Creed Origins would have a Gold Edition that comes with the game, a Deluxe Pack, a Season Pass, and a steelbook case. There is no word yet on what kind of extra content fans can expect from the Deluxe Pack and Season Pass, but the leak suggested people who pre-order will get the Secrets of the First Pyramids mission, whatever that is.
